    • Animal Rising released a photo today of a beagle puppy that we are calling Max to protect his identity. Max was rescued from MBR Acres in December of 2022 and has gone on to live a full and happy life of freedom and play. • Max was one of 18 beagles that were rescued on 20/12/22 from MBR Acres, a Cambridgeshire animal testing and breeding facility that breeds around 2,000 beagles a year to later be sold for animal testing at 16 weeks old. • None of the rescuers have been charged, despite all

    • Earlier today, Ben Newman gave an undertaking at a Committal Hearing for breaching the Jockey Club injunction that was granted in May of this year. Mr Newman was fined £10,000 and sentenced to 2 months imprisonment (suspending for 18 months). • The hearing came more than 4 months after the Epsom Derby was disrupted by Animal Rising.     • Today (10/8/23), at City of London Magistrates Court, three individuals were found guilty of criminal damage in relation to a paint-spraying protest at the Houses of Parliament on 7/9/22.   • Nine Animal Rising Supporters Convicted Over MBR Acres Occupation

    • Yesterday (25/7/23), at Peterborough Magistrates Court, individuals were found guilty of Aggravated Trespass in relation to actions taken at MBR Acres on 19/6/22.
