No new factory farms.
We’re working with local communities to stop all new factory farm applications, bringing the approval rate down to zero — as a first step toward total animal liberation.
Join Communities Against Factory Farming
Millions of animals suffer in brutal factory farms across the UK. Yet the meat industry keeps expanding — and if the new planning bill passes, even more of these cruel facilities will be built.
Before constructing a new chicken shed or pig prison, meat corporations must first obtain planning permission from local councils.
We’re stopping these nightmares before they’re built — and we need everyone who cares for animals, climate, nature, and local communities to join us in objecting to every single planning application.
The new campaign, explained
Our mission? Drive factory farm approvals down to zero.
This is just the beginning — step one towards animal freedom.
Join the movement to target animal farming where it’s weakest, and end the cruelty for good. For animals, for climate, for nature, and for local communities.
How it works
- Track applications. Every new factory farm requires a planning permission from a local council. We monitor those applications across the UK.
- Mobilise the community. We work with local residents, climate groups, and farming neighbours to coordinate objections.
- Make the case. Planning objections that cite animal welfare, climate, water pollution, ecological harm, and traffic load are far more effective than generic protest.
- Win locally. Scale up. Each refused application is a precedent — and a signal to the next council.
One application at a time. Zero approvals.
If you live near a proposed factory farm, or you’d like to support communities that do, this is the most direct route to stop new animal cruelty in the UK before it starts.
