  • RSPCA Farms Polluting Britain’s Rivers: Data Released

    • Results of water samples taken from waterways at 12 RSPCA Assured farms have been revealed, as part of Animal Rising’s investigation into over 40 Assured farms this year. [1] • The results, assessed by Oakshire Environmental consulting services, showed high levels of pollutants associated with farm run-off on all 12 sites, “presenting a potential risk to human health”.   • Buckingham Palace Fountain Dye: Animal Rising Supporters Found Guilty Of Criminal Damage

  • Week of Court Hearings Conclude for 18 Beagle Puppy Rescuers

    • The second plea hearing has concluded for 18 supporters of Animal Rising, with all pleading not guilty to burglary charges, after the first plea hearing on 25/07/24 [1]. • The defendants appeared at Cambridge Magistrates Court this week for charges relating to the December 2022 rescue of 20 beagle puppies from MBR Acres, a beagle breeding facility in Cambridgeshire that breeds up to 2,000 puppies a year for the animal testing industry. 18 of the puppies now live in safe forever homes, while t

  • Deformed Chicks Rescued From RSPCA Farm in Norfolk

    • This morning [21/8/24], Animal Rising released footage from the rescue of two ailing “broiler” chicks from an RSPCA Assured intensive farm. • The chicks, named Peppi and Jade, were taken from Wicklewood Farm, Norfolk by Claudia Penna Rojas and Orin Cooley-Greene earlier this year in order to receive veterinary attention. • One of the chicks was in critical condition due to a heavy parasite burden, and unable to eat properly due an untreated deformed beak.     • Three Animal Rising supporters were sentenced today (5/8/24) at St Albans Crown Court for conspiring to cause criminal damage at the Hatfield site of Arla Foods, concluding the trial for the 13 supporters that took action in 2022 [1] [2]. • Last week (31/07/24) ten supporters were sentenced at the same court for the same offence.
